‘Substantial’ amount of money found in Kilworth

A substantial amount of money that was found in Kilworth has yet to be claimed by its owner.

On Monday last, September 20, Gardaí put out an appeal online to find the individual who may have lost the money. The find was handed in to Fermoy Garda Station that same morning, in the hopes of reuniting it with its out-of-pocket owner.

“The person who lost it will be able to identify it, so please share and we’ll reunite it with the owner,” a Garda spokesperson noted.

While the online appeal has been shared almost 300 times, the rightful owner has yet to come forward. Gardaí are now appealing for the owner of the money to contact Fermoy Garda Station at (025) 82100.
