COFFEE AND CHAT

The sun shone last Sunday when the community of Ballyduff got together for Coffee and Chat. It was great to catch up with neighbours and friends, after such a long and difficult time for so many.

The wonderful music that was supplied by some of the local Comhaltas branch teachers, added to the occasion as did the soccer match put on by the recently formed Ballyduff Rovers Club and the opening of the Astro turf/ ball wall by the GAA Club.

The winner of the “gate” prize was Tony Crotty. The winners of the raffle were: Blackwater Distillery hamper – Denise Walsh, community hamper – Sean O’Donohue, community hamper – Sarah Kenneally and DandM Fruit voucher – Fionán Walsh.

Thank you to everyone who helped out and supported the Coffee and Chat fundraiser on Sunday last. Your support is very much appreciated!

After a great summer of sport, we are delighted to announce that we have a winner of the sports predictor competition. Congratulations to Greta Kearney!
