We are back at last!

Lotto stands at €9,800 following the extended unwelcome layoff. Tickets available from local outlets, or direct from the club website for annual or multiple draws.

Training has resumed for all age groups, and the first competitive adult game will take place on Sunday next at Currabowen, where the pitch and all surrounding areas are in immaculate condition for the coming season.

The visitors on Sunday will be Kanturk, who will provide stiff opposition to the home team in the Munster Junior Shield. Kick off is at 2.30pm, and admission is free.

All groups will train in Currabowen. The training arrangements at present: Girls, Wednesday at 7.30pm; Boys U14, Thursday at 7.00pm; Boys U16, Thursday at 7.00pm; Boys U18, Friday at 7.00pm; Adults, Friday at 7.00pm; Minis up to 12, Sunday at 11.00am.

Normal Covid guidelines will apply, bring your own bottle, gumshield, towel, etc. as no swapping or using other people’s kit is allowed. Non-members will be advised of registration procedures at the time, so please come early to avoid disappointment.

It has been a tough time for all of us, with several local people losing relatives to the virus. Let’s make sure that our actions do not contribute to its spread.
