Skeheenarinky suffer third round defeats in both the JAHC & U19HC championships

Our Junior A team play Round 4 of the South JAHC on Saturday, September 25th in Cahir against St Marys at 4pm. This is the final round in the league section of the competition and St Marys currently lie on top of the group with two wins and one draw from their opening three games.

After the disappointment of our loss to Mullinahone in the last round, a win here will ensure progression to the South quarter-final and potentially win the group outright. Best wishes to everyone involved. Tickets for the game can be purchased online through the South Tipp ticketing app. JUVENILE ACTION

Our U15 hurlers contest the county final v Shannon Rovers this Sunday, Sep 26th in Dundrum with throw-in scheduled for 4.45pm. After winning the county U15 football earlier in the year and the Feile Peil with this group, a win on Sunday would seal an exceptional year for this bunch.

Our best wishes are extended to Jack Carey, who broke his collarbone in the semi-final win over Portroe last Saturday, we hope to see him back in action very soon. He joins Jack O’Brien, who suffered a broken leg in our U17 Co Final defeat at the start of the month. We’re sure the team and management will do everything they can to win this one for the two Jacks and we wish them the best of luck on the day.

Our U13 Hurlers have a South Championship semi-final v Moyle Rovers on Friday, Sept 24th in Clogheen at 6pm. This team has progressed greatly this term, but will have a game on their hands against the team, which knocked them out at this stage in the U12 Championship last year. We know that no stone will be left unturned to gain the upper hand this time. Our best wishes to all and keep up the great work.
