CHRISTY AND MARGARET WINNERS

On Sunday morning we had a scotch fourball competition. It was a damp cold morning; despite the conditions, a number of hardy members took to the tee boxes to take part in the competition.

Christy Murphy and Margaret Kiely were 1st nett winners on a score of 37 1/2. Patsy O’Mahony and Joe Lee were gross winners on a score of 50. Tuesday afternoon’s fourball nett winners were Ger McCarthy and Catherine Morrissey on a score of 40 1/2.

John Hogan and Seamus O’Connell were gross winners on a score of 52. Thursday afternoon’s fourball competition was won by John C McCarthy and Christy Murphy on a nett score of 41. Joe Lee and Noreen Ryan were gross winners on a score of 52.

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons competitions continue weather permitting, tee off 2pm sharp. Sunday morning competition tees off 10.15am sharp.
