Further roadworks on MacCurtain Street

Some minor disruptions were seen on MacCurtain Street in Fermoy this week as roadworks were undertaken on the R639 approach to Pearse Square.

The new works followed a period of recent traffic disruptions caused by works being completed to bus shelters in the town centre.

A Cork County Council spokesperson confirmed to The Avondhu that the latest works involve repairs to an existing concrete drainage channel on the road.
