Fermoy’s Oaktree take top business accolade

Fermoy-based Oaktree Financial Services Ltd have been named All-Star Financial Services Team 2022 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.

Focussing on the financial well-being of individuals and businesses within their community and beyond, through building life-long relationships, the company has been recognised with Business All-Star Accreditation for their outstanding performance in the areas of trust, commitment, performance and customer-centricity.

Reacting to the announcement, Oaktree Financial Services Ltd co-founder and MD, Adrian Godwin, said that the team are ‘delighted’ to receive the award.

“This is a huge achievement for the company and recognises all of our staff and the hard work that they put in contributing to our continued success. The last number of years this has been even more prominent with the impact of Covid and our staff’s commitment to their work,” Mr Godwin said.

Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. Held by over 500 firms, the Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

“The award clearly helps to separate us from our competitors and shows our commitment to our clients and their needs. We believe that this award will help strengthen our business and solidify our continued growth over the coming year,” Mr Godwin added.

Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring, commended the local business, stating that the accreditation is in recognition of their ‘outstanding contribution’ to the sector.

“We wish to recognise Oaktree Financial Services Ltd’s outstanding performance in the areas of trust, commitment, performance and customer-centricity. Oaktree Financial Services Ltd is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence,” Mr Ring said.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) is an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Bestin-Class in Irish business.

The Foundation actively engages and supports its network through peer dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and enterprise development activities. Companies are qualified for accreditation by completing an enterprise audit and are identified by their use of the AIBF’s Business All-Star Marque.
