Well done to Araglin GAA for providing funding for Mark Keane GAA coach, who came to the school over a six week period to deliver fundamental movement skills for the students. Mark was presented with a hurley as a token of appreciation.

ARAGLEN PONY CLUB SUCCESS

Our Pony Club had great success again this weekend in Frankfort, Wexford with one of our Pony Club members qualifying for the Eventing Pony Club Championships. Will there be more to follow? Watch this space!

And it’s great to see the revival of our Araglen Pony Club games team ‘Araglen Red Devils’ who kept our flag flying at Charleville Show on Saturday. Continued success to our Pony Club members also partaking in show jumping and showing competitions. As with all events, credit must go to the support crew and instructors who are so committed. Well done you!

ARAGLEN PONY CLUB CAMP

Araglen Pony Club Camp takes place next Wednesday, 6th July in the Community Field. The road will be busy in the mornings and in the afternoons around 4pm. Please slow down if you are a road user and be on the lookout for ponies on the road. Pony Club personnel, keep up the good work and Pony Club members, enjoy the learning and laughter, the fun and the falls as you continue your Pony Club activities. You will look back on those camp weeks as one of the highlights of your youth. Ask any past Pony Club member.

CONGRATULATIONS TERESA

Congratulations and well done to Teresa O’Donoghue, Macroney who graduated recently from the Irish National Stud Breeding and Management Course in Kildare. This course is not for the faint-hearted, so we have huge admiration for you Teresa. Riding and looking after horses has always been your passion and your Pony Club (where once you were led around on the lead rein) are so proud of you.
