CANCELLED - SOCIAL DANCING IN CLOGHEEN

The social dancing with Fran and Murial due to be on Saturday, 2nd July in Clogheen has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

CONGRATULATIONS LIAM FLEMING

Liam Fleming and Siul Eile were given a civic reception by the chairperson of the County Council, Cllr Marie Murphy in the council rooms for his vast time and expertise Liam has put into developing Suil Eile walking groups all over Tipperary and further afield. Liam started with the couch to the mountain top initiative and it has gone from strength to strength. Well done Liam and Siul Eile.

KILSHANNA STUDIO SUMMER CAMP

From July in St Pauls Community Hall art, crafts, singing, baking, dance, music, photography, games and much more will take place in the hall.

CEMETERY MASSES IN JULY AND AUGUST

Masses will take place in the following cemeteries during the month of July and August. Shanrahan, Clogheen – Wednesday, 6th July, Ballyporeen - Thursday, 7th July, Burncourt Friday, 8th July, Ballysheehan, Burncourt - Thursday, 14th July, Templetenny, Ballyporeen Wednesday, 17th August. All masses will be celebrated at 7.30pm.

CONGRATULATIONS

Huge congratulations to Emma Ryan (15), daughter of Sarah and Keith who is heading to the European Karate Championships in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands on 27th July. Emma is a member of ToraKan Karate Club in Ballyporeen and is part of a group of 8 travelling to the tournament with their Sensi Kevin Sullivan who is extremely proud of Emma and the rest of the team. This is Emma’s first time representing her country and to make it even more special, her Grandad Michael Corbett is also on the team competing. Best of luck to the entire team! Any donations that people would like to make to cover funding and expenses would be greatly appreciated.
