A week of celebrations in Scoil Mhuire, Ballyhooly

Father Pat Scanlan former parish priest of Ballyhooly, was welcomed back to celebrate his time in our school last Monday. He brought his lovely new canine friend Buddy, much to delighted of the children. The whole school sang songs for him and he was presented with gifts from the staff and the board of management.

Sixth class pupils not only graduated from their time in Scoil Mhuire but took to the roads after completing a cycling safety course - Cycle Right on Tuesday.

This was facilitated by Midleton bike hire and partially funded by the Green Schools Travel fund.

The schools’ sports day was celebrated on Wednesday where the children enjoyed being together and had great fun at the various activity stations parachute games, tunnels, three legged race etc.

The week cumulated with class parties on the days of the holidays. We congratulated our children on their hard work this year.
