Wonderful sporting performance from Galtee Gaels U9 footballers

Last Friday night week Dromin Athlacca were the opponents for the Galtee Gaels U9 footballers at O’Mahony Park, Kilbehenny.

As often is the case this time of year, Dromin Athlacca were unable to field a full team, so with a full contingent of Galtee Gaels players to call upon, it was agreed to split the numbers into 4 teams with 4 of Galtee Gaels players lining out with Dromina Athlacca.

Well done to Shibeal Ryan, Tom Lane, Sean O’Gorman and Rob Fitzgerald for being so sporting and joining with the visitors and ensuring all players from both sites got to see plenty of ball on the night.

In the end all games ended in a draw, thus all players went home happy. Thanks to Dromin Athlacca for making the trip to Kilbehenny on a Friday evening, it was very much appreciated.
