Gents Captain’s prize this weekend

Due to the heavy rain last weekend, the gent’s captain Patsy O’Mahony’s prize was cancelled. It will go ahead this weekend with teeoff for first card Friday afternoon 2.30pm and Saturday 10.30am, play as many cards as you wish. Final card Sunday morning tee-off from 10am. Two best cards will count over the weekend. First card €5, all subsequent cards €2.

On Sunday morning we had a 3Ball competition with two scores to count. 1st place saw John Hogan, Margaret Kiely, Ella Lovett, nett winners on a score of 821/ 3. Barry Doyle and Seamus O’Connell plus ghost were gross winners on a score of 100. On Tuesday evening we had a 4Ball competition the winners were Tom Kennedy and Mary Quane on a score of 35½ nett.

Kevin Doyle and Dan Noonan were 1st, gross winners on a score of 51. Abina McDonald and Kay Riley were 2nd, nett winners on a score of 40. John C. McCarthy and Seamus O’Connell were 2nd, gross winners (on the back 9) on a score of 53.

Tuesday and Thursday evening’s Competitions continue with tee-off at 6.45pm. Gent’s captain Patsy O’Mahony’s prize this weekend. Lady captain Catherine Morrissey’s prize weekend 8 to 10 July.
