Supporting Scotty Coscoran in Kilbehenny

The people of Kilbehenny and surrounding areas turned out in force last Sunday to support a coffee morning in aid of Scotty Coscoran, who has local connections.

Currently battling serious illness, 18-year-old Scotty is receiving tremendous support from family, neighbours and friends. Considerable expense is required to make Scotty's life more comfortable and an iDonate page set up to assist in this regard, has raised over €64,000 to date.

Large quantities of buns, scones and cakes were supplied for last Sunday morning's event, and for this, organisers are most grateful. The impressive setting that is Kilbehenny Community Centre has been the setting for many important fundraisers and true to form, the public arrived in significant numbers to support this most worthy of causes.
