Several call-outs for Fermoy Fire Brigade

Tuesday night saw members of Fermoy Fire Service attend to a road traffic collision on the M8 Motorway. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the single car collision, which the local unit attended in conjunction with a unit from Cork City.

The previous night, Fermoy Fire Service were called to another road traffic collision between Junction 15 and 16 on the motorway. Mitchelstown Fire Service were also in attendance at the scene, between a car and a van, in which no major injuries were reported.

On Tuesday morning, a fallen tree outside Watergrasshill saw a unit of the Fermoy Fire Service on site to help clear the scene and reopen the road.

While on Sunday last, March 26, the local brigade attended a car fire, also in the Watergrasshill. The fire was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported.
