Baking time in Scoil Pól

Bhí craic agus spraoi ag daltaí sa chistin i Scoil Pól le comórtas bácála. Rinne na daltaí sáriarracht.

The baking competition which was open to all staff and students in Scoil Pól, Kilfinane received a large number of entries. Students showed excellent baking skills, creativity designing bakes for the Lá Fhéile Pádraig theme.

A wide array of creative bakes were entered including a festive cheesecake, shamrock cookies and a variety of pot of gold cakes and cupcakes.

The competition which was open to all staff and students had over 25 entries, with a vast array of baked goods. Students patiently waited for the results from the judges, Ms Kelly McHugh and Ms Elaine McLoughlin, who had some difficult decisions to make. Congratulations to all who took part for their excellent work!

Winners were are as follows: Senior category: 1st Clodagh Davis, 2nd Diandrea Sheahan, 3rd Darragh Shinnors. Junior category: 1st Megan Stewart, 2nd Sarah McDonnell, 3rd Nikki Hayes and Ryan Cunningham. Staff category: Ms Paula Bateman.
