GOOD FRIDAY CLEAN UP

Both Glenroe and Ballyorgan look forward to your support as we’ve registered to participate in the Team Limerick Clean Up on Good Friday morning from 10am to noon. Meet up at Glenroe Hall or Coolfree Kids, Ballyorgan. Many hands will make light work. All welcome.

Darragh, what next? All, especially residents who live near Darragh, are invited to consider what next on Saturday, 1st April, 11am at Darragh.

GLENROE BALLYORGAN PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

Our Parent and Toddler group meet on the first Friday of every month from 10am- 12pm in Glenroe Hall to play, chat and have some fun and a cuppa.

GLENROE GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the club lotto jackpot draw of €9,600 on March 23rd. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 17 and 18. Lucky dip winners: John and Denis Healy, Kilfinane (seller: Nora Sheehy), Sabrina Lonergan, Ballylanders (online), Mossie O’Mahoney, Knockadea (seller: Diarmuid Coffey), Sarah Hayes, Knocklong (online), Sean Walsh, Ballylanders (seller: McCormacks Bally) and Bridie McSweeney, Garryarthur (seller: Brid Hayes). GLENROE-BALLYORGAN PARISH

Note mass times changes. Glenroe Church: Saturday at 5pm and Friday morning Mass at 9.30am. Ballyorgan Church: First Sunday of each month at 10am. Monday morning Mass at 9.30am. Your church contribution envelopes will go to the relevant church as written on the individual envelope. In Glenroe and Ballyorgan a box is provided in each church for your contribution envelope.

GLENROE HALL

This is a community facility managed by a voluntary committee and is available for meetings, talks, classes, catering after funerals and social events. All bookings for any of the events to be made through Elaine Carroll who is the key holder on 087-4620571. Contact Elaine Carroll for details on management of such events, catering etc.

CLOTHES BANK

The lovely Blue Clothes Bank is located in Glenroe Church car park which can be used by people near and far to recycle their household clothing. Spring is here and now is the time to give that annual closet a clean out. Profits from the bin will be given to the Community Council so that they can continue to run events and invest in the local area. It is important to note all clothes, shoes and household clothing will be accepted except duvets and pillows.
