Colman’s Rebel Óg Award winners

The 2023 February Rebel Óg Award went to St. Colman’s College, Fermoy following their win in the O’Callaghan Cup (Cork Post Primary Schools Senior A Hurling Championship).

The side overcame Christian Brothers College in the quarter-final, Midleton CBS in the semi-final and Gaelcoláiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaidh in the final. The panel was made up of players from eleven different local clubs and the team was captained by Michael O’Driscoll.

The group began training back in August and their commitment and hard work certainly paid off. Many of the panel have now won an U15 O’Dowd Cup, an U16 Cork Colleges, an U16 ½ Dean Ryan and an O’Callaghan Cup. Well done to everyone concerned.
