Juniors impressive in challenge games

The junior team are busy continuing their pre-season programme ahead of league and championship. They have played two challenge games against Grenagh (winning 6-07 to 4-07) and Carrigtwohill (winning 3-13 to 0-06).

Very positive to have a good panel travel to each of these games. The Junior team will begin their league campaign on the 7th April.

JUVENILE LGFA U8 RETURN TO TRAINING

Monday night saw a return to training for our U8 players! They are a hugely fun and energetic group and there was some great talent on show.

Planning is well underway for U6s to start training. If your daughter is interested in joining, please register now to allow us to gauge numbers.

Our U10, U12 and U14 teams continued with their training sessions on the astro this week. With some great talent on show across all age groups, the future of Kilworth LGFA is bright with almost 70 girls now registered. This is a fantastic achievement given that the juvenile club was only set-up last year. A huge thank you to all involved in making this happen, with a special word of thanks to our coaches, mentors and sponsors, without whom this could not have been achieved. Please reach out to any committee member if your daughter is interested in getting involved.

If any parents are prepared to get involved helping out at training, across any age group, please let us know asap so we can help guide you on garda vetting, safeguarding and registration details. Thanks for all your hard work.

We would like to say a word of thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who were busy pouring concrete for the fencing and enclosure of the second pitch. It is looking fantastic. Thanks a million to everyone who is helping in any way with this project. It is so greatly appreciated!
