Tallow GAA hosting hurling tournament this summer

We are excited to announce we will be hosting a knockout hurling tournament called ‘Best of the Far West’ in May and June. Lismore, Ballyduff Upper, Cappoquin, Shamrocks and Tallow will be taking part. All will play for the Dean Cup and the tournament is been kindly sponsored by Meadow Fresh Foods. All money raised will go towards the Tallow GAA field development fund. I will have the draw and fixture details on next week’s notes.

SENIOR HURLING LEAGUE

Round 1 is against Ballyduff upper away on Friday, 7th April at 7.30pm. Junior League - round 1 is against Brickey Rangers away on Wednesday, 5th April at 6.30pm. Please note change of day.

Well done to Ava Chambers, Sophie, and Katelyn McCarthy for making the Waterford camogie squads for the 2023 season. Best of luck all.

OFF THE FIELD

On behalf of Tallow GAA, we wish our sincere condolences to the Condon family, West Street on the sad passing of Marie’s mother Bridget Foley in Clonmel.

Well done to all the local members of the mare The Dollar Lady, trained by Paul Tobin, who won in Ballynoe last Sunday.
