Lotto jackpot rolls on

The latest lotto draw took place on Monday night, March 27th, in the Rockforest Bar. The numbers drawn were 4, 5, 8 and 31. There was no winner of the €6,400 jackpot and the five €20 Lucky Dip winners were Chris Relihan, Helen Regan, Stephanie Hartnett, Bridget Kean and Karen and Ann O’Callaghan. Congratulations to all the prize winners.

The next club lotto draw takes place on Monday, April 10th, in the Castle Arms, with the jackpot now standing at €6,500. Tickets are available through local retail outlets in the village, from your usual sellers or through any club officer. The club would like to express our appreciation to everybody who continues to support our draw.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

A reminder that club membership is due now for the 2023 season. It has been decided to maintain fees at €50 for adults and €20 for OAPs/ students. Membership can be paid to any committee member. Please note that membership must be paid by March 31st, 2023, as per the rules of the Association, in order to have full membership rights.

CONFIRMATION

A huge congratulations to the children of 5th and 6th class in Castletownroche National School, who received their Confirmation on Tuesday last, March 28th, in the local church.

CONGRATULATIONS

The club wishes to extend our congratulations to Michael and Eileen O’Riordan, of the Rockforest Bar, who celebrated 50 years in business over St Patrick’s weekend. The O’Riordan family have been great supporters of Castletownroche GAA throughout this time. We wish them good health and happiness in celebrating this fantastic milestone and wish them many more years in the Rockforest.

REBELS’ BOUNTY

Enrolment for the 2023 Rebels’ Bounty Draw closes today Thursday. Many thanks to everybody who has renewed to date. Draws take place on a monthly basis, with 30 individual prizes each month. The prize pool for the year is €500,000. The first draws for January, February and March take place on tonight, March 30th.
