RESULTS SATURDAY, MARCH 25TH Mogeely B 2 Castlebridge Celtic 2

U12 Rian French Cup/Applegreen.

Castlebridge Celtic win 3-1 on pens AET. No scorers supplied by either club but Castlebridge Celtic went through after a penalty shoot-out.

Inch United 1 Ardmore 4

This game was switched to the Ardmore astro and resulted in a win for Ardmore. The home side were 2-0 up at half-time and while Inch United pulled a goal back, Ardmore finished strongly to progress to the next round. Ardmore scorers were Tom Howard (2) Dathai Power and Arron Troy.

Clashmore Ramblers 3 Ballybridge United 5

Ballybridge put in a storming second half to get the better of a Clashmore Ramblers side that led 3-1 at the interval with Alexander Corr getting the goal for the visitors. On the resumption a goal from Faye Holland left just one between the sides with Ballybridge United now on top. They levelled the game with a strike from Brendan Shone, before going in front 4-3 with a Charlie Donnelly effort finding the net.

The visitors wrapped up the result with a fifth goal from Sean O’Connell that sees Ballybridge United progress to the next round.

U14 A LEAGUE Castlebridge Celtic 2 Clashmore Ramblers 4

Clashmore Ramblers had a fine away win in Celtic Park. Jack Kenneally had a hat-trick here with Jack Walsh also on target for the winners while Jude Hallinan and Rob Cronin had the goals for the home side.

FERMOY NISSAN U13 A LEAGUE Mogeely A 0 Cappoquin/Railway 2

The visitors kept their good season going with a fine away win against Mogeely. A goal in each half was good enough to give the visitors all three points.

Brideview United 3 Ballyduff Rovers 2

A really fine game in Tallow where Brideview United kept their title challenge alive with a hard earned win against Ballyduff Rovers. The visitors took the lead with a fine header from Jamie Alcock in the 15th minute to lead 1-0 at the break.

On the restart Brideview drew level with a Paul Hegarty goal and ten minutes in they were in front with a goal from the penalty spot converted by Oscar Cunningham. Brideview were now on top and they added a third goal from Barra Alian to give them breathing space. Ryan Molumphy did pull a goal back for Ballyduff Rovers with ten minute remaining. Ballyduff Rovers pushed hard for an equaliser and had one or two good chances but Brideview United managed to hold on for the win.

U12 A LEAGUE Lismore 3 Kilworth Celtic 0

Lismore are the U12 A League champions as they completed their league program with a comfortable 3-0 victory. Just one game remains in this division with Brideview United having to play Mogeely.

U12 B LEAGUE

Castlebridge Celtic are the U12 B League winners as they cannot be caught at this stage even if they lose their final game against Inch United.

U13 A League: Brideview United v Cappoquin/Railway, Leonard Fraser Park, time and ref tbc. U11 Cup final: Mogeely v Kilworth Celtic Black, time and ref tbc.
