Ladies ‘Get into Golf’

The Get into Golf programme is delivered by the club to encourage more people to play golf. It allows new players to learn new skills and meet and play alongside people of a similar ability. If you have been thinking about taking up the sport or if you have family or friends who may be interested but are not sure about how to go about it, well this is the perfect opportunity and place to start.

Beginning on Monday, 17th April at 6pm at Fermoy Golf Club. Lessons with Pro Mark Collins.

OTHER NEWS

Spring Leagues both for the ladies and the men concluded last weekend. Unfortunately recent bad weather forced the course to close on Saint Patrick’s Day and heavy rain also hindered the numbers getting out to play. However we are reliably informed that despite this the course work is near completed in preparation for the golf season and weather permitting the course will re-open 18 holes form April 1st.

The club would also like to extend their appreciation and best wishes to Brendan Dunlea in his role as the new Junior officer for 2023.
