Lismore Tidy Towns – litter pick rescheduled

Due to unforeseen circumstances the litter pick up on the approach roads to Lismore could not take place on Saturday last, 25th March.

It will now take place this coming Saturday, 1st April. All participating please meet at the public car park at 9.30am.

The Tidy Towns work team started work on Wednesday morning, 29th March at the wild fairy garden in Lismore’s Millennium Park. The plan is to further enhance this area with additional appropriate planting. From Monday, 3rd April the work team will also work on Monday evenings, meeting at 6.30pm.

Thanks to the two Tidy Towns CE workers Jim Noonan and Kieran Fraher who continue to work on keeping Lismore clean and tidy. The community litter roster also started this week and thank you to all those who came on board again this year.
