Brilliant performance

RESULTS U8

The U8 girls went to Mitchelstown last Wednesday evening. We had two teams, each playing two 20 minute matches. The girls gave a brilliant performance showing great skill, passing, scoring and determination. Well done girls. Training again on Thursday.

SENIOR Fermoy 0-06 Inch Rovers 3-10

This league game was played in Fermoy in very warm conditions. Inch played with the advantage of the wind in the first and in a tight game scores were hard to come by. Just before the break Inch scored a goal lead by 1-6 to 0-4 points at halftime. First half scorers were: Muireann O’Brien (0-1), Caitlin Duffy (0-2), Aoife O’Sullivan (0-1).

The second half was again fairly evenly contested game until near the end but Inch were better to convert their chances. Fermoy made some changes to try and improve the scoring rate but, unfortunately, were exposed at the back and Inch added two goals near the end to finish winners. Second half scorers were Aoife O’Sullivan (0-1), Michelle Parker (0-1).

Training every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6.30pm in Colman’s pitch.

Training continues every Tuesday evening at 7pm in Colman’s pitch.

U11/U12

We will be taking a break from training for the next weeks. Enjoy the break girls.

U14

Training Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the back pitch and Sunday mornings 11am in the main pitch.

MINOR

Minor training every Tuesday night 7pm to 8.30pm in the back of the main pitch.

JUNIOR/SENIOR

Training continues every Tuesday and Friday at 7pm in the back pitch and every Sunday morning on the main pitch.

WELL DONE

Congratulations to Aisling Hutchings and the Cork senior Ladies on their win against Waterford last weekend on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-5. Best of luck in the All-Ireland quarter-final.
